Wholesale hemp cannabinoid product prices were largely down this month, although observed declines were small for the most part. The assessed price of CBD Biomass held steady from last month, just above its all-time low, a level that it has maintained consistently for most of the past six months.
Wholesale prices for CBD distillates resumed their persistent downtrend in April after March saw widespread upticks. The assessed price for Crude CBD Oil slipped to a new historic low and looks set to test the $100 per kilogram level. Among extracted CBD products, only the price for CBD Isolate was observed to rise in April. It has occupied a tight $20 range per kilogram since August 2022.
Prices for different types of hemp genetic stock were largely stable from March to April, with most outdoor farmers likely securing their seeds or clones for the current season at this point in the year.
The observed price for Delta-8 THC Distillate continued to ascend in April, the fifth month in a row of rising prices and the eighth of the last nine months to see an increase. The assessed price rose 0.5% to average $593 per kilogram in April. The range of reported prices spanned from $450 to $710 per kilogram.
Delta-10 THC Distillate averaged $1,230 per kilogram in April, down 1% from March’s assessed price. Observed deals for delta-10 THC ranged between $1,000 and $1,300 per kilogram this month.
Smokable CBD Flower’s overall assessed price rose for the second straight month. Similar to March, a notable increase in the price for indoor product was primarily responsible for pushing up the aggregate price.
Smokable CBG Flower* prices rose 4% this month. April’s uptick broke the pattern of significant declines seen in each of the two prior months.
